Well as you are all aware what nasty weather we have been having in Victoria, so as we had no bed to sleep in, the night before we left we set up the camper trailer to sleep in for the night. Low and behold the wind started to kick in and the rain and hail started, so we decided we would nbot sleep there for the night so we went to the neighbours house, just to play safe, thank god we did, Terry got up early the next morning, to go and finish the final bits and pieces to find the trailer had turned itself inside out with the 130KMS winds and the torrential rain, so as you can imagine all the blankets, pillows and even the mattress was soaked, I had even placed a fully loaded suitcase with my clothes on the ground to help hold it down, but alas that was soaked as well. so we decided to pack it up wet, and continue to load the car with the rest of our stuff, as it was raining and the wind howling we didnt care anymore and tossed it in however it would fit.
We left town at about 9.30 that morning and drove to West Wylong and stopped for the night
For $75 we got a greaqt hotel room and we slept well, Terry decide at 6am it was time for me to get up and showered, I hate early mornings, so it too me till 7.30 for us to get on the road, we went as far as Millmeran and had to stop as I was starved, all i had all day was a round of sandwiches, we were reccomended to go to the sportsman club for a meal, we had surf and turf, and i must say it was a good price and very tasty. Next morning we take off at 6.30 to get to Coominya to look at bus’s in Lowood,
